As the Soccer league comes to an end I have been provided with the knowledge of overseeing the development and operations of various programs. I have managed many programs such Soccer, Mens basketball, and Volleyball. Being the last week of this league there are 4 teams left, the championship would be played today. The first game was at 9a.m. and the Championship would take place right after. I arrived at 8a.m. as usual set up the score board, also took the soccer goals ready, and the bleachers were put the their respected places. The games were excited as I kept score the teams kept me on my feet because the lead changes were being exchanged dramastically. But after the competition was over Fo-Sho was the team to take the championship. After the game and the celebration it took all the spectators and teams about 30 minutes to clear the gym. Thats when I began to assemble and break everything down. (3hrs)

As Volleyball began on Sunday evening, this brought more responsibilty my way, never actually being apart of Volleball I learn the common rules, and how to essentially score in this sport. For this indoor sports I usually arrived about 4p.m. to set up Volleyball nets etc... It was definetly a learning experience putting these nets together, because it take someone with somewhat a physical background to put these nets and and poles into the ground. This weeks competition was very competitve and a learning experince because I eventually know mastered

My day started early this Saturday morning around 8a.m, My duty today was to set up for what was almost the end of the soccer league. As I set the scoreboard up, got the bleachers ready, and the soccer goal ready. I realize these long months were over. I built many relationship here i thought to myself, learned from a dedicated and hard working Program Director in Erik Slosser. The 4 teams that met today will play hard to play in the championship next week. (3hrs)

As Men's basketball came to an end last week, there was no break for Eric Slosser because he put together a indoor Volleyball league which would last for several weeks. This setup was much more different the Indoor soccer and basketball because the preparation for volleyball was much more difficult andtime consuming. Each night there was 4 teams that would play 3 game series each night would would last to 25 points. The preparation for volleyball would at least take 30 minutes setting up and breaking down. I also had the responsibilty of keeping score. 3hrs

As the soccer league comes to an end the tournament was the by far the best competetive weekends for all teams. Here is bracket that was put together by the Program Director and I. These teams were picked to play each other based off who won weekly during the regular season. How this bracket works is winner continues to play, single elimination so if you lose you go home. All it takes is a bad game for a top contender to lose, and its over until next season. My duties for these games during the playoffs was to enforce the rule dramastically. I also kept score, this was drastic to pay even more attention because you don't want either teams upset over final scores. The first playoff game was played at 9a.m. the last game was played at 2p.m. the playoffs brought us a extra game to work and officiate. This Sunday was the moment of truth because it was the day the championship game for the playoff series would be played. Whoever won this game would have bragging rights in the town of Tiffin. 2 games would be played this Sunday, whoever won their respected game would eventually meet each other to play for the champion. The first 2 games went smoothly, 6p.m. the championship would be played. As I prepared for the second, getting everything put in the box score for the championship players were warming up for the next game. With a small intermission we were ready for the game. As I kept score things got very intense during the game. As the physical part in the game got intense the referees had that handled I just had to do my part and that was to keep score. At the end of the game a local Tiffin team Bustin Heads took home the championship. After the game and the gym cleared out I broke everything down. Eric told me hope I am ready for volleyball next week. (3hrs)

This Saturday was very special for me because I was trusted by Eric Slosser the program director for the YMCA to basically do his job while he was at the conference in Missouri. I arrived to the YMCA about 8a.m. headed to the gym area were I turned the lights on, put the courts up on the second court were the indoor soccer would take place. I opened the facility room retrieved the soccer goal post, also went to get the balls out the room. After that was finished I set up the scoreboard machine, made sure that was working properly. After that was taken care of I had a list of the teams playing today, the 9a.m. team arrived everything was going smoothly I was real nervous but the weeks before prepared me for days like this. After the 1p.m. game I broke down everything that needed to be cleared off the courts. I wrote everything down in my journal the winning and losing teams, the scores and stats. After I placed everything Eric's mailbox on his office. (8hrs)

This Sunday was very similar to Saturday Eric Slosser the Program Director for the YMCA was out of town for a conference, so I took initiative to set everything up in the gym for Men's Basketball league. I set up the gym, scoreboard, and bleachers. I also had to pay the referees after the 3 games were finished that's when it hit me I was officially ready to run this segment part of the athletic department. (3hrs)

This Saturday was normal I got an around 8a.m. my first duty was put the
basketball up using the electronic device that's installed in the wall. After
that was taken care of I entered the facility room removed the goal post for
soccer. I already what teams were playing so I entered names and numbers into
the stat book. 9.a.m. the last game was at 1p.m. After this game I broke everything down put everything up in the facility room.

My duties were to set up score board makes sure it was functioning correctly.
Also set up the bleachers, make sure all the box scores for both teams were
ready. This was the last week before the championship game next Sunday there was 4 teams left so which ever 2 teams won today will advance into next weeks games. The games were so intense it came down to the wire. The champs from last year were defeated the crowd was in shock. After the game it took along time for me to clean and get things organized due to the enormous crowd that was there but eventually I cleaned up broke everything down returned everything to its respected place. (3hrs)

On March/23/2013 this was the last Saturday of the regular season, today's wins and losses will determine who is in what position for the bracket. I got an around 8a.m. my first duty was put the basketball up using the electronic device that's installed in the wall. After that was taken care of I
entered the facility room removed the goal post for soccer. After all the games were finished I broke down everything that needed to be put away, everything was back to normal before I left. (5hrs)

Men's basketball was in it's playoff series so the attitude of the players was very intense I could literally see it in their faces. If they win this league it gives them bragging rights for a whole year. My duties were to set up score board makes sure it was functioning correctly. Also set up the bleachers, make sure all the box scores for both teams were ready. (3hrs)

I already what teams were playing so I entered names and numbers into the stat book. 9.a.m. was the first game scheduled MusBus against Balls of Fiery. These games were very interesting because these guys usually have the most spectators come to the game. After all the games were finished I broke down everything that needed to be put away, everything was back to normal before I left. (5hrs)
March/17/2013
This Sunday was the first round of play-offs so I was excited about the turn out. I reported to the YMCA early just to make sure everything was prepared. I was informed there would be a crowd for the play-offs so I brought in more bleachers due to the possibility of a large crowd. After that I remembered we had problems with the scoreboard last week so I made sure it was working proper this week. As I imagined when I plugged everything in it was working fine. The referees were on time the teams got there a little early to warm up also. The stat book was filled out ready with both teams players names and numbers. It was really a competitive game but a good one it went to the end of buzzer. After all 3 games were played only sic teams remained. (3hrs)

March/9/2013 as this Saturday approached I new that this league was at coming to an end so competition would get more relevant in this league. Most of the people in this soccer league do it yearly for many years prior. Every team in the league was a company in tiffin or an organization these men worked with each other. This league wasn't as fierce as basketball but the competition level was high. Like I have been doing for a couple months know my duty was to put the basketball courts up electronically, after that mission was done I usually brought the goal post out the facility room. Then I would set up the score boards for the league. At first the scoreboard was hard to use but doing it for a couple of months you initially get the hang of it. After the coaches handed end the stat books with players names and number we were officially ready to start. games played on March/9/2013 9a.m.-1p.m. (5hrs)
March/10/2013
Basketball Men's League the season was coming to end so every team was playing harder, a couple times temper flared and I thought there was eventually going to be a brawl. But cooler heads prevailed, the teams were playing harder because of playoff seating in the brackets. 3 games were played this day, I set up before hand and hour before each team would arrive. The scoreboard gave Eric Slosser and I some trouble this day so score was kept by manually. After the game we figured out it was a shortage in the fuse. I broke everything down put everything away in the facility room. (3hrs)

On this Saturday Eric Slosser made sure I was thoroughly familiar with the  scheduling and administrative responsibilities such as planning, budget, activities (schedules, arrangements,
costs.) This was after my soccer league was over. Everything went according to plan this Saturday team showed played competitively and show good sportsmanship. The event was done a little after 1p.m. I started to break everything down. Reported wins and losses, also the scores of each game to the program director. The reason why Eric showed what exactly his job entitled was because he would be making a trip to Missouri, Kansas for a couple weeks, so I would have to be familiar on exactly there is to do when he is gone. (5hrs)

March/3/2013
On this Sunday afternoon it started like any other day, I came in about 30-1:00hr before Men's basketball would begin, I swept the floors got the bleachers set up, arranged the seats for the home and away team. Made sure the scoreboards on both sides on the gym were working properly. There was a problem the referee got delayed due to snow, so I had to be the interim referee until he showed. This was perfect because this is what I would eventually like to do on my spare time was ref. So for the 5p.m. game I was a referee until halftime. That experience was a great one I didn't to much blow my whistle but the experience I receive that day was remarkable. (3hrs)

This Saturday was frustrating for me because our 9a.m. team cancelled so that left me to think quick and call each team to see if they wanted to play an extra game this morning. I had to think quick to make sure the event went smoothly. Another team substituted for them so we started about 9:30 a.m. that was fine with me as long every team got a opportunity to play their game. The only thing I would hope for next time is the team call prior so I could had arranged the games differently that day. But long story short we got all 4 games were played that day. I kept score, stats, and kept order without any of the teams showing frustration towards me. (5hrs)
Sunday Feb/17/2013
Sunday games went smoothly I came in about 30 minutes prior to games starting set up all bleachers, set the chairs for the home and away team. By this month I am really starting to get the hang of things in my position. So by the time the teams get to the gym everything is already set up. All the teams have to worry about is warming up. The coaches of the teams know my name on professional level know. Everything in the stat book is ready to go, scoreboard is working fine, referees are in the building. Eric my supervisor started to trust me and just knew I was going to have all things organized prepared and ready to go. (3hrs)
